Ano nga ba ang kalagayan ng sinasabi nating mayamang bansa...

Maybe this is just an information to all of you who still thinking of looking a greener pastures around Europe, just a picture of how this "big" nation is battling for their economy and perhaps gives you a clearer picture about what we called "1st world nation".

Small firms fearful over economy
Almost one in 10 smaller companies could go out of business if trading conditions do not improve in the coming months, according to new research.
A survey of 500 small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) found that only 13% believe the economy will improve this year, with most predicting "difficult days" ahead.  More than one in four of those questioned said there was a danger of a double-dip recession, while a similar number said the summer months will be a "vitally important" trading period.
David Bruce, commercial product manager at Aviva, said: "It is evident that the tough trading conditions we saw last year have continued into 2011.
"Confidence among SMEs is as low as it has been since the onset of the recession and many feel they are in real danger of losing their businesses should the economy fail to improve this year.

Unemployment 'will peak at 2.7m'
Unemployment will peak at 2.7 million next year, lower than previously predicted, although the jobs outlook will get worse if economic growth is weaker than expected, a new report has said.
The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) predicted that the jobless total will be around 2.4 million in 2015, roughly the same as today and still 800,000 higher than the pre-recession level.

This is only UK's news and how about those Greece, Italy and other nations that I already told you in my previous blog?  Yes, maganda ang bansa nila, malinis, maayos but still not a perfect government as we think.  The truth is maraming mga Pinoy dito came as student visa because hindi tayo basta basta nakakapasok they can't give us a working visa... kaya ayun nagkada ubos ang pera ni Juan dela Cruz para makipag sapalaran... kahit pumasok na waiter, bartender o kahit anong work na hindi naman legal kasi nga bawal ang mag work for those on student visa... kaya kahit mababa ang sweldo which is gusto naman ng mga companies dahil nga pabor sa kanila, kaya si Juan dela Cruz nagtiis talaga...  Teka muna, I'm working as a seaman ha, hindi po illegal ang pagpasok ko dito (lol).

  1. The "1st world nations" (including my USA) run out of "wisdom": wrong economic decisions, wrong priorities, miscalculations, overspending beyond its income Ayan tuloy, nag spiral down ang economy. Kahit dito sa US, limited na rin ang hiring ng nurses from the Philippines, because many of the locals looking for jobs are heading to schools to take nursing. The US government is punishing heavily employers caught hiring employees without legal papers(mostly latinos though).

Quote ko na rin ung balita ngayon saying, "Britain's debt burden will be put on an "unsustainable upward" path should the state fail to raise taxes and cut public spending faced with an ageing population, a budget watchdog has warned."
